Brian Cooney – A True Veteran of Bay Area Real Estate
For nearly three decades, Brian Cooney has been providing innovative, exacting results for his clients. More than one thousand homeowners have trusted Brian for his skill and expertise.
Born in Oakland, Brian and his family moved to Castro Valley in the 1970’s where he developed a childhood interest in searching for homes with his parents. He is a proud alumni of Our Lady of Grace School, Castro Valley High School, Chabot College and Cal State Hayward (East Bay).
Brian’s clients directly benefit from his local knowledge, negotiating skills, and passion for sharing expertise in all aspects of real estate. These skills come from personally handling each transaction from beginning to end and cultivating long-term client relationships. Having personally designed, built, and remodeled many homes for clients as well as his own projects provides a distinct advantage and perspective that he always enjoys sharing. Vacant land, new-home subdivisions, apartment buildings, probate sales and tax-deferred exchanges are additional areas of experience Brian brings to the table.
Prior to real estate, Brian was trained as a paralegal and office manager of an East Bay law firm specializing in Real Estate and Family Law. There he developed key skills on which to build a solid foundation not only as a Realtor, but as a trusted advisor. Today Brian’s primary source of business is past-client referrals, and he
continues to enjoy meeting new clients who invariably become advocates through positive experience. Brian’s geographic area of focus includes communities along the 580, 680, and 880 corridors between Oakland, San Leandro, Castro Valley, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon and Danville, as well as San Francisco, Orinda, and Walnut Creek.
